No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Romans 8:37
MESSAGE
Nothing matters much to me than a repositioned mind to be victorious. Conquering is much more of what you think of your situation than what you have to fight the situation. Thus, it is much more of perceiving than realisation.
Paul, in His letter to the church in Rome, established the point that nothing could separate us from the love of God. Establishing the fact that we may have troubles or calamities, or persecutions, or hunger, or destitution, or be in danger, or threatened with death, we are more than conquerors through Christ. The resources you have get no victory won; ask Gideon and he will confirm that. Africa is blessed with a lot of resources, but we are left at the beck and call of the whites. Actually, we can do greater things than what they are doing, from my observation. But the problem we have is that our minds are positioned to think it is impossible than it is possible. What a pity!
Until we learn to invest in our minds and believe we can do it, Africa will still be impoverished. Let us stop the “God will do it” saga and let’s start using our heads. We are becoming comfortable with reproducing what other people have done. Challenge your mind to do the extraordinary. The stages of discovery are: “I thought it. I bought it. I sought it. I got it. I taught it”. It starts with the mindset (the thoughts).
