Theme: Stay Focused

Text: Matthew 12:37

The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”

I begin today’s booster with a comment a friend sent yesterday. “What we feed our mind on registers in our subconscious and can influence us if we are not alert or careful”, was what he sent.

We respond to the things we hear and think through what we say and do. The words we utter carry the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and as such we will be judged by our words (Matthew 12: 36-37). Whatever your heart has stored in abundance, the mouth enjoys its season by letting them out (Luke 6:45). Jesus said, it is not what goes into the stomach that defiles a man, but that which comes from the mouth (Matthew 15:11).

Beloved, in our era of freedom of speech, let’s be careful the words we utter. Our conversation should be seasoned with salt and should encourage, correct and criticise constructively. Be focused on what you say.
