Theme: Define it
Text: Joel 3:10
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, “I am strong!”
MESSAGE
The Earth and everything in it were created with words. The creative power of words predates man’s existence. The words of our testimony were important to overcome the enemy together with the blood of the lamb. Words carry power.
Names are not just combination of words like we have been discussing. It carries the character of the person who is defined by it. It prophetically ushers the person into an atmosphere created by it. Throwing more light on the opening scripture and continuing from where we left off on Monday, the weaklings were encouraged to say they were strong. A simple question the mind will ask is: are you not weak? Yes, the body feels the pains, the situation seems hopeless, there seem to be great adversaries. In the pain and agony, God encouraged them to say that I am strong. Just say that I am strong? The definition of faith is meaningful when you learn to define your situation based on what God has said and not on what you see. He has said that we can confidently say what He has said (Hebrews 13:5-6)
Beloved, the situation you find yourself in is as a result of the definition you have given to it. Everything that exists was created by words. If you don’t like what you are seeing, redefine it. Keep speaking the WORD and you will see the changes.
