Theme: Define it
Text: John 14:13-14
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you [a]ask anything in My name, I will do it.
MESSAGE
At times, the logical solution to your circumstances is to accept them, no matter how adversely they affect you. It gives a wider audience to define your current situation based on the way they perceive them or want you to accept them.
You own the choices you make; irrespective of who influenced the decision. Situations don’t change just because we wish they did; but because we took steps to handle them. Revealing what ought to be, we speak into our situations. This is what God expects of us as the only creation in His image and after His likeness. Come to think of it, why was it necessary for Jesus to tell us as a matter of truth that whatsoever we shall ask the father in HIS NAME, he shall give unto us. The name was given to Him by God, and at the mention of the name Jesus, every knee must bow, whether on the Earth or the heaven above. The name Jesus received defined his character and place. It was sufficient to use His name to petition the father.
A traumatic lifestyle change in lifestyle brings with it a new description. How do you describe yourself? How do you want others to describe you? Just define yourself to be defined by others.
