Theme: Be a Blessing

Text: Romans 12:21

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Last week, we asked ourselves one question. The question is what do we do with our excesses? Hope you have been thinking of what to use your excesses for?

The people had every claim to whatever thing they found out. They could have claimed it was a result of their hard work and labour. What were the people in the town doing? Moreover, what did they think of them and do to them when they were having abundance? Now that they had in excess, it was time to show them what it means to be neglected. It would have been a perfect payback time for them, even to the King. Abraham had every chance to neglect to help Lot after He had chosen the best part of the land to travel to. But He did not.

Some of us have decided to embark on a payback time now that God has blessed us. Forgetting it took someone to be a blessing to us for our situation to change, we think of what message we want our mockers to receive. But Paul has a message for you. It is summed up in the opening scripture.
